FLUIDE version

Always faithful to its philosophy, Horloscaphe is inspired by scuba diving instruments for the FLUID version of the NC001 model.

Like manometers, diving compass and depth gauges filled with glycerin,
Horloscaphe applies this principle: encapsulate a non-silicone fluid, dielectric and with a higher density than water, for these numerous advantages:

– greatly increase its resistance to hydrostatic pressure,
– Lubricate the internal organs and prolong the life of the movement,
– Allow better readability because the internal fluid reduces glare,

Despite a slight fluid resistance on the hands, it does not affect the behavior of the time because the electronic circuit is set with a 0.2 second advance per day to balance the march.

The air bubble:
A bubble of + or – 5 mm is present in the fluid. Its role is to balance the internal pressure of the watch. It can be visible under the glass or invisible because hidden behind the dial its size varies according to its environment.

Temperature :
In cold, the fluid shrinks and the volume of the air bubble expands. Under the effect of heat, the volume of the fluid expands and compresses the retracting bubble.

Pressure:
Under high pressure (while diving), the bubble is compressed and its size decreases.
Conversely, in low pressure (high mountain) its size increases.

A matt black watchdial, 12-3-6-9 with luminescent hour markers to insure the best contrasts for an optimum readability.
A 39mm brushed 316L steel case, an unidirectional rotating bezel in matt black PVD steel make this diving watch the perfect « Tool Watch », water resistant to 1000m.

Warranty 2 years parts and labor, except violent shocks proved, fall, broken glass or crown.
